If you've got windows 95, NetMonitor MIGHT bring the dial-up dialog up when it's first
run, if you don't have a connection (it happens when it tries to resolve the DNS name for
your IP). I've made a modification that prevents this.
I've made some fixes and additions:
- You no longer need to have RAS installed to run (will only show IP and hostname)
- Windows 95 was having a problem getting the hostname and IP. I've fixed it.
- Improved the tray icons a bit.
I fixed some dialog sizing problems when run under Windows 95. I've also made it
so when you minimize NetMonitor, it won't show up in the task list (it
"minimizes" to the tray only).
Created web page, and put NetMonitor source and exe's on-line. |
